Florida Man Arrested For Slapping Woman With Pizza Slice During Argument

In an odd turn of events, a man was arrested in Florida last week for allegedly slapping a woman in the face with a slice of pizza during an argument.

The incident took place on Friday, as per the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The man, identified as Ortelio Lazaro Alfonso, was arrested on a battery charge and booked into the Marion County Jail, according to Fox News.

The altercation reportedly occurred when the victim physically disciplined an individual in the home “on his bottom area”, which upset Mr. Alfonso.

According to the New York Post, the victim had pizza sauce all over her shirt, collar, and back of her shirt. Remnants of pizza were found in her hair and near her ear, and the sauce was also found on the walls and ceiling of the kitchen.

Authorities responded to the scene after receiving a 911 hang-up call reporting a possible domestic disturbance. The victim told officials that Mr. Alfonso had slapped her on the left side of her face with a slice of pizza during the argument. The police report did not mention who the victim had disciplined in the home.

“The defendant advised he did not physically strike the victim with his hands, just with the pizza,” the cops wrote in the affidavit, according to Fox News.

Mr. Alfonso was later released on his recognizance. This bizarre incident comes on the heels of another odd arrest in Florida, in which a man was charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest after walking down the street naked and claiming to be from a “different Earth”.
