Former BBNaija Star Rico Swavey Passes After Car Accident.

• His management had earlier tried to raise N30,000,000 (Thirty Million Naira) to cover medical expenses.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Patrick Fakoya better known as Rico Swavey, died from his injuries after a terrible car accident on Monday.

Rico Swavey was involved in an accident on Monday and had been in critical condition since the unfortunate incident.

Until the time of his death, he was on life support and in need of N30,000,000 (Thirty Million Naira) for medical expenses.

His management team wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday,

“Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support,’ the statement read.

“While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers”.

They also posted a video of Swavey’s badly damaged car and also launched a fundraiser in a bid to raise N30,000,000 for the 2018 BBNaija ex-housemate.

However, today Thursday 13 October 2022, the management posted a Twitter update through his handle that he had passed.

The statement reads,

“We lost him…. We lost our boy #RIPrico #RIPricoswavey”, followed by a photo of him.
