The founder and General Overseer of Salvation Ministry, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has declared that anyone that has reached the age of 35 and is still unmarried is irresponsible.

Pastor Ibiyeomie was alleged to have said this when he addressed his congregants yesterday at the church headquarters in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

But a search through the church’s and the pastor’s video archives could not produce any video of yesterday’s sermon.

However, CHOC NEWS discovered a 2017 preaching by Pastor David Ibiyeomie where he made the statement.

He said, “If you are still single at 35, you are an irresponsible person,”.

“How can you be 35, 36, 37 and you are still doing ‘boyoyo’, you drag your trousers to your waist, still doing ‘boyoyo’. At 37? you’re irresponsible”, the pastor said.

The cleric also admonished single men and women to look out for responsible men and women to be their partners, adding that it was not right to get old before getting married.
