Just In: Man Utd Confirms Ronaldo Off Ten Hag’s Squad For Chelsea Game.
Manchester United have confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of their squad for the trip to Chelsea this Sunday.
The club confirmed this in a statement released on Thursday.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea.
“The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture,” the statement read.
Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, imposed this as a punishment against the superstar a day after Ronaldo left Old Trafford early during their 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Speculations are rife that Ten Hag is willing to approve a transfer for Ronaldo during the January window given the 37-year-old’s discontent at being at the club.
