Man in Wheelchair Narrates How He Was Attacked by Thugs in Lagos

John Solam, a physically challenged man from Adamawa state has narrated how he was attacked by thugs in Lagos for campaigning for Peter Obi with his automatic wheelchair.

In a heartbreaking trending video on social media, John showed the damage done to his wheelchair and injuries he sustained from the attack. He said the attack was unnecessary as everyone is free to choose a candidate and support.

“Them break my Machine (Wheelchair), beat me up and injured me everywhere simply because I put “Vote for Peter Obi” on the back of my machine. This thing is by choice, e no reach fight,” John said.

John Solam chose to support the “Obidient” movement when Mr. Peter Obi was still in the PDP. During one of the rallies organised by the youth asking the Peoples Democratic Party to give Peter Obi the mandate to fly the party’s flag, he was captured in solidarity with the marching youths, prompting some members of the movement to purchase a brand new automatic wheelchair for him.
