Nigerians React to Man Who Built 12- Seater Electric Bus[Photos].
A Nigerian man, Mustapha Gajibo has completed his locally assembled, Made-in-Nigeria electric bus.
According to Mustapha, 65 percent of the materials, and components for building the bus were locally sourced. The bus uses solar panels for its energy utilisation while in motion.
Some of the specifications of the bus include;
12 seater, 212km range on one charge, 110km/hr speed, fully air conditioned, voice command system, built using 65% locally sourced materials.
Mustapha Gajibo is not new in the automotive sector in Borno where he has been recognised by the state and federal government.
Sometime earlier 2022, there were reports of Mustapha converting fuel powered buses into solar-powered models making them economically viable for commercial use.
This was before he decided to produce a fully functioning version running on solar with additional seating capacity.
The Governor of Borno State, Malam Zulum was sighted in his workshop test driving the automobiles.
