Obama featured Tems, Burna Boy, and Pheelz on His Summer Playlist as has become customary for the former president and commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces.

The three Nigerian superstars‘ songs were listed among 44 hit songs that made the former 44th president of the United states’ summer playlist.

Barack Obama shattered barriers in his life to become the first African American editor of the Harvard Law Review, then the first African American presidential nominee of a major political party, and eventually the first African American president of the United States.

Making his summer playlist – which is usually a compilation of songs by top musicians across the world – public on his Facebook page, he wrote;

“Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies—it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together. Here’s what I’ve been listening to this summer. What songs would you add?”

Tems’ “VIBE OUT” hit single was listed 2nd after Beyonce who made number 1 with her song, “BREAK MY SOUL”.

Burna Boy’s “LAST LAST” made it to no.14 while Pheelz’s FINESSE in collaboration with BNXN ft Buju was listed in no.28.

The songs were arranged in an unnumbered format of two songs in a row using two image thumbnails containing 22 hit songs each.
