Nigerian musician Rema has maintained his position on the Billboard Hot 100 into 2023, with his song “Calm Down” currently at No. 79.

The “Calm Down” remix featuring Selena Gomez has also performed well, peaking at No. 74 on the chart and selling over a million copies.

“Calm Down” has also surpassed one billion streams across all platforms. On the US Afrobeats chart, “Calm Down” remains at the top for its 18th week, with Tems’ “Free Mind,” Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” and Wizkid’s “Essence” holding the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.

Cameroonian-American singer Libianca’s hit single “People” has climbed to fifth place, with CKay’s “Love Nwantiti” dropping to sixth and Fireboy’s “Peru” remaining at seventh. Oxlade’s “Kulosa” has slipped to eighth place.
