Channels TV website reports.

The incident took place on Thursday, August 11 at the Katsina State Government House Accounts Office, an official confirmed.

The Director-General to Governor Masari on New Media, Alhaji Al-Amin Isah told journalists that some of the suspects were already in police custody undergoing investigation.

“Yes, it’s true that some money was alleged to have been stolen as you have asked. We have already reported the matter to the police for investigation. I cannot tell you the exact figure now, but those in the best position will give you more updates,” he added.

However, according to Channels TV inside sources quoted the figures stated as the amount of money stolen. This incident is the second time such an occurrence was being recorded in the Katsina Government House, Channels TV recalled.
