Three Killed In Ukrainian Drone Attack On Russian Air Base, According To Russian Authorities.
Three Russian servicemen were killed when a Ukrainian drone was shot down as it approached the Engels air base in Russia’s Saratov region, according to the Russian defense ministry.
The base was also reportedly targeted in a Ukrainian drone attack on December 5.
In response to the incident, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had earlier announced plans to call for Russia’s removal as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
