Twitter Plans Real-Time World Cup Coverage As Elon Musk Assures Twitter Is Alive.
#RIPTwitter hashtag was trending last Thursday night creating uncertainties about what would happen right before the FIFA World Cup begins without a useful tool as Twitter.
But Elon Musk has stepped in to confirm Twitter would provide real-time coverage of the Mundial.
In a tweet posted on Friday afternoon, Elon Musk assured anybody who will watch the World Cup that Twitter is not going anywhere.
Musk may be hated by many for the way in which he is handling Twitter at the moment but he seems to know where he is headed in trying to turn around the microblogging platform.
The tech entrepreneur has a reputation for starting up and running the biggest companies in the world of tech with impressive levels of success. He must know what’s at stake if Twitter ceases to exist and that’s why he saw fit to write this tweet and calm everybody down with all the doomsday scenarios.
When the news of the Twitter employees walking out of the offices started breaking, many inside the platform started talking about the platform ceasing to exist. Some people began to speculate about the survival of the social media platform.

The World Cup tweet Elon Musk just wrote has an entire context behind it. In a sense, Musk has all the intention to treat Twitter like the end of the world. It could mean that the world only ends for people who are no longer here. Those who decide to no longer be on the platform are the only ones for whom this platform will cease to exist.
