US CIA Chief Holds Talks With Russian Counterpart To Warn Against Use of Nuclear Weapons In Ukraine.

  • President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited the liberated city of Kherson in Ukraine’s south and accused Russian forces of war crimes throughout the region.

The Russia-Ukraine war has taken another dimension as there are fears Russia may resort to using Nuclear weapons against Ukraine.

To avert this, the US CIA chief William Burns is reportedly in Turkey for talks with his Russian counterpart aimed at reducing the nuclear threat.

Also in tow, the US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, both of whom are in Indonesia for the G20 summit, have made a joint statement against the possible use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

NATO says Ukraine should decide what terms are acceptable for negotiations with Russia over ending the war.
