Max, a TikTok user from Miami, went viral on the social media platform after she shared her horrifying experience of discovering that her roommate had “stolen” her vibrator.

In a now-viral video, Max explained that she had spent a couple of nights at her parents’ house and returned home “later than usual,” which “surprised” her roommate. The next morning, she noticed that her vibrator was missing from her bedside drawer.

After 45 minutes of deliberating, Max finally decided to check her roommate’s room. To her shock, she discovered her vibrator in her roommate’s bedside drawer. In a follow-up video, Max shared her panicked state after discovering the returned vibrator, saying, “All I know is I don’t feel safe anymore – like who am I living with? I just wanted to get out of there.”

Max’s friends advised her to take a picture of the vibrator and put a dot of eyeliner on it so that if it was returned, she would know for sure if it was hers. When her roommate returned, Max left to give her a chance to return the vibrator. When Max came back, she checked her bedside drawer and found the vibrator back where it belonged.

The viral video has been viewed over 2.4 million times on TikTok, with many viewers expressing disgust and disbelief. One user commented, “I’m SICK,” while another wrote, “This is so FOUL what an absolute violation.” A third viewer shared a similar experience, saying, “THAT HAPPENED TO ME!! Mine didn’t have any batteries at the time, and then when I found it in her drawer, there were BRAND new batteries.”

Max later Googled her roommate and discovered a website about her and her mother, claiming they had been charged for multiple offenses and a picture of her roommate with a stamp saying “Liar” over it. Max said she was shocked by what she found and called her parents, who drove down the next day to help her move her belongings out of the house. Six police officers accompanied them to keep watch.

In a text conversation, Max confronted her roommate, who tried to gaslight her by denying any wrongdoing. Eventually, the roommate appeared to blame her guests, saying they “may have used” the vibrator. Max insisted that she needed to leave for an hour while she packed her belongings to stay with a friend. She said, “I felt honestly sick. She had no empathy; she was not sorry.”

Max’s story has sparked a conversation about boundaries and privacy. Many viewers have expressed their support for her, while others have shared similar experiences of their own. It’s a reminder that personal boundaries are essential, even when living with others.
