A single mother, Estefany Barboza, who is a mother of three children has been murdered barely three hours after she made posts on Facebook concerning her death.

Estefany, according to media reports, was assaulted on Halloween night outside her home by two men on a motorbike.

Authorities in Colombia are investigating an ‘alarming’ post she made on Facebook three hours before she was murdered.

According to Canal 12, she made the post on Monday saying, “Pretend I’m dead,”

This singular post has attracted “the attention of the National Police of the municipality of Sucre, since shortly afterward the message became a reality”, the report said.

The victim is suspected to have been a target of a prearranged assassination plot where the assailants used the Halloween bike riding events as a smokescreen.

It is alleged that while the Halloween celebration was in full gear, a group of motorcyclists crowded the streets of the city to celebrate Halloween. However, two bikers who are suspected to be the assassins took a detour and headed towards Barboza’s house, and began to shoot, causing her death without the emergency services being able to do anything for her.

Barboza was taken to the Las Penitas clinic but died minutes later as a result of her injuries.

According to initial investigations, the suspects returned to the group of bikers to prevent them from being located, despite the numerous security cameras in the area.

Authorities investigating the matter also discovered other worrisome posts she made on Facebook.

“She wasn’t dead, she was out partying”. “We are quiet, but not tame, watch out”, was another of Barboza’s comments posted on Facebook in recent weeks.
