In the main category of Environmental Photographer of the Year, a single photo can win the top award. This photo should deepen our understanding of environmental change and social inequality, offer solutions to the climate and ecological emergency, and inspire sustainable living.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or an amateur photographer, young or old, from anywhere around the globe, you have a chance to be the winner!
The prize package includes a £5,000 cash reward, an exclusive interview in CIWEM’s Environment Magazine, a feature on WaterBear’s website, and a spotlight on Nikon Europe’s platform.
If you’re a young and talented photographer aged 21 or under, Nikon is sponsoring the Young Environmental Photographer of the Year award. This category aims to showcase rising talent in environmental photography. The winner will receive a Z Series Mirrorless camera along with two NIKKOR Z lenses of their choice.
On top of that, they’ll have an opportunity to be featured in CIWEM’s Environment Magazine, WaterBear, and Nikon platforms.
