The University of Leeds in the UK has opened its application portal to offer international students the opportunity for a fully funded scholarship through the Beit Trust Scholarships.

It is open to individuals who are looking at studying for a degree program at the Institution.

The Scholarship provides a number of fully-funded awards and is open to applicants domiciled in Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe to undertake a one-year taught Master’s program that meets the aims of the scheme to provide long-term benefit for their own country, with the exception of the Master’s of Business Administration (MBA).

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must already hold a degree of equivalent standard to a good UK second-class honors degree.
Applicants must be citizens of Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
Applicants are required to meet the English language requirements of the university.
Application Deadline: 20 February 2023

Countries eligible to apply for this scholarship are citizens of  Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe and the type of award is strictly for a master’s program.

It is a Fully-funded scholarship award taking care of the tuition and living expenses of successful applicants.

The Beit Trust scholarship would be awarding up to six successful applicants so it is advised to begin your application process early.

Zimbabweans and Malawians should send their application forms to africa@beittrust.org.uk. while Zambians should send theirs to scholarships@beittrust.org.uk.

The deadline for submission is 20th February 2023.
