Tech CEO Christian Lanng Accused of Forcing Employee into Disturbing "Slave Contract"

Christian Lanng, co-founder of a prominent San Francisco technology company, is facing serious allegations of coercing his former executive assistant into signing an unsettling “slave contract.”

The lawsuit, filed on Thursday, reveals disturbing details of Lanng’s purported misconduct, which he vehemently denies.

The legal action, initiated by an individual identified as Jane Doe, alleges that Lanng imposed this contract shortly after her recruitment at Tradeshift. The lawsuit contends that Lanng subjected her to years of physical and sexual abuse, with the company also implicated in the allegations.

These startling accusations emerged following Lanng’s dismissal as CEO earlier this year due to “gross misconduct on multiple grounds.” Management reportedly uncovered “serious allegations of sexual assault and harassment” against him, leading to his termination.

As per the lawsuit, the accuser was terminated in 2020 after raising concerns about the nine-page “slave contract” with human resources, which she claimed she was compelled to sign. The alleged contract outlined disturbing terms, including the obligation to be “sexually available for her master” at all times and accept any punishment inflicted.

An excerpt from the purported contract submitted with the lawsuit stated that the slave must “always be sexually available for her master when he needs sex and never to refuse him sex even when not wearing the [day] collar.”

It further specified that the master could inflict any punishment, with the responsibility to avoid causing permanent injury.

The contract detailed that the slave must take punishments without showing anger, sullenness, or frustration and must express gratitude afterward. The accuser was also reportedly obligated to maintain a diary documenting her “subjugation and enslavement” and agreed to physical punishment with a cane for failure to comply.

The legal filing alleges that Lanng subjected the woman to severe beatings, causing bleeding, and engaged in violating acts with inanimate objects.

The accuser claimed she signed the contract out of fear of losing her job and because she “loved her job” and was engaged in important work.
