Florida Man Charged with Murder After Allegedly Enlisting Maid to Clean Up Crime Scene.

Florida, USA – A 34-year-old man from Florida stands accused of murdering his grandmother and enlisting the help of his housekeeper to clean up the horrific aftermath.
The disturbing incident took place in the suburb of Golden Gate Estates on Wednesday, leaving the community stunned and authorities grappling with the details of the gruesome crime.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Anthony Michael Corrado allegedly beat his 82-year-old grandmother to death with a hammer and severely assaulted his grandfather.
Following the brutal act, he contacted his maid and requested her immediate presence at his grandparents’ residence to address a “real mess” that needed cleaning.
Upon arrival at the scene, the housekeeper was met with a grisly sight, as Corrado was visibly “covered in blood.” He directed her to a bedroom where the lifeless body of his grandmother lay wrapped in a tarp, with a white hose near her head.
When the maid attempted to remove the tarp, Corrado cautioned against it, citing concerns of blood spatter. Furthermore, the man allegedly instructed the housekeeper to dispose of the grandmother’s body outside the home and requested that she disable the security cameras present on the premises.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, the frightened maid informed Corrado that they needed to involve the police. In response, he expressed apprehension about returning to prison.
Seizing an opportunity to escape, the housekeeper claimed she needed to retrieve cleaning supplies from her car. However, she promptly drove away and sought help from a Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputy, who was coincidentally nearby in his patrol vehicle.
Law enforcement authorities swiftly responded to the residence, where they discovered the victim’s lifeless body. Meanwhile, the male victim, suffering from severe head injuries, was found in another room and promptly airlifted by medical helicopter to the trauma unit at Gulf Coast Medical Centre in Fort Myers.
Corrado, with bloodstained clothing, was apprehended outside the property. Detectives noted blood on his shirt, shorts, boots, shins, and forehead. It was revealed that the woman had an active protection order against Corrado, who had been released from prison last year.
The accused now faces charges of second-degree murder and aggravated battery against a person over 65. Authorities uncovered a bloodied hammer on the kitchen countertop, and bloodstains adorned the walls and floors of the residence.
Sheriff Kevin Rambosk praised the swift response of deputies and the quick thinking of the housekeeper, emphasizing her bravery in alerting law enforcement.
The motive behind this savage crime remains undisclosed as the investigation continues to unfold, leaving the community in shock and seeking answers to this horrifying tragedy.
